Twilight Princess Controls Changed

August 21, 2006

Straight from one of Japan’s official Nintendo magazines, titled “Nintendo Dream”, Miyamoto spills some details on the highly anticipated dual-system game, Twilight Princess. Apparently, the controls for the Wii version have been changed drastically since E3. At E3 2006, the player used “B” to swing the sword, and the D-Pad to use arrows. Now, the controller will be swung to swing the sword likewise, and the B button will be used to fire arrows.

Seems like great news indeed, as this was the control mechanic many anticipated if TP reared its head on the Wii.
