So I decided to take a look at some old videogame commercials (specifically for the N64) at http://gameads.gamepressure.com, but after seeing a couple for the N64, I decided to look at some of the even older ones… What I found amused me immensely.
Pole Position Ad This is, hands down, the best videogame commercials ever devised. Action, suspense, and an interesting product; how much better can it get? Man… This is just so funny; every single time I see this, I crack up. Watch it, it’ll either scar you for eternity with its badness, or it will give you a disease from which you can’t recover that makes you laugh whenever you see sterotyped dads in little cars that are bashing into billboards.
E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial Ad E.T. – The Videogame; the perfect Christmas gift. Of course, why not get your son or daughter THE best videogame of all time for any system ever?! It’s just so captivating… the graphics are amazing even by today’s standards, and the gameplay is so… not linear. Truly amazing.
Ms. Pac-Man Ad New depth; new levels; teh green screen you might never see again!!1!! Ms. Pac-Man truly revolutionized gaming with her, err, charm?
Wario Land VB Ad Oooh… Look at all the… colors? Oh, wait, I forgot; the Virtual Boy only managed to show one color, and it would eventually be the color of your eyes, too.
